Jamie Flick has been a central Pennsylvania resident his entire life. Jamie learned the values of a strong work ethic and moral principles growing up on the Flick family farm in the Nippenose Valley. Building on those values instilled at an early age, Jamie became a successful business owner and community leader.  

After graduating from the Pennsylvania College of Technology (formerly Williamsport Area Community College) with a degree in Software Engineering, Jamie started his career as a systems analyst and software developer for GTE Sylvania. In the mid 80's, Jamie launched his own company, Susquehanna Software, Incorporated which ranks as the # 1 selling Human Services software in the state of Pennsylvania. While in the intense early years of growing his business, which currently provides software services in 60 of the 67 counties in the Commonwealth, Jamie also served as an adjunct professor of Computer Science and Data Analytics at Penn College.

As a community volunteer, Jamie has developed a reputation for being a 'Go-To' guy through seeking out opportunities to help with a vast number and variety of needs. 

Through the years volunteering has shaped his life and contributed to his strong sense of community.  Some his volunteer roles are:

• Mentor and advocate for Foster children as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)
• President and Founder of the South Williamsport Community Park Association
• Big Brothers / Big Sisters Volunteer
• American Cancer Society Volunteer
• President, board member and volunteer of South Williamsport Little League (25 years)
• Team "Uncle" and host for the Little League World Series
• Youth coach for baseball, football, basketball, soccer (25 years) 
• Odyssey of the Mind Coach
• Board member of the Sylvan Dell Environmental Center & Robert Porter Allen Nature Preserve
• Susquehanna River Cleanup Crew
• Led efforts to build 5 tennis courts and new ball fields in his community - at no cost to taxpayers.  

In addition to raising his 4 biological children, Jamie has also been a mentor to two teens from inner-city Brooklyn over the last decade. For the past two years, he has been honored with the role of  custodial guardian to each of these teens. Jamie believes that no matter where you come from, you can achieve your dreams by working hard. The older son from Brooklyn (pictured here with Jamie) graduated from South Williamsport in 2021 and proudly enlisted as an infantryman in the United States Army.  His younger brother is now a junior in the South Williamsport School District where he proudly made honor roll. 

Jamie's oldest child is a Navy veteran and is a journalist and musician in San Diego, while the next oldest children are enrolled in college at Temple and Shippensburg. 

Rounding out team Flick is the youngest of the children who is also an honor roll student at South Williamsport.
